Course handbook

The handbook, specially created for Sigrid Salla’s courses, has been very popular, having been printed in no less than six editions! Even now, it has been sold out in all shops and online stores; it is available only to participants in Sigrid Salla’s courses.

The systematic project management handbook was developed in collaboration with learners as a textbook for a project management course, and it has been appreciated precisely because it is the only one that includes a complete sample project.

The methods and examples of preliminary studies and analyses presented in the handbook have also been of great help to learners in developing business plans.

For example, SWOT and risk analysis, logframe, the specification of goals and metrics, target group needs analysis, and the problem tree technique have been of great assistance in preparing business plans.

The book has been used as a course textbook in nearly all universities. In addition to Sigrid Salla’s courses, it has also been used by several other project management lecturers, such as at Tallinn University, University of Tartu, TalTech, Mainor, and others.

The textbook provides a thorough overview of all the training topics and increases the number of examples and its practical utility, as it can also be used independently after the course for project development. The complete project plan provides a comprehensive overview with explanations, which helps avoid inconsistencies between different parts (one common typical error).

The handbook, along with extensive training slide packages, offers participants even more versatile sample material from projects in various fields, and it also enables them in the future to independently prepare pre-analyses and a plan for a project based on a complete example and its related explanations.

Additionally, it provides an opportunity to learn terminology related to project management so that projects can be prepared even more professionally!
